It will be an adventure, a journey lined with torches and fires, leading to the finish under the classic portal in Mora. Participate as an individual or in teams of two; skate and classic ski style are both allowed. Everyone from the age of 13 is welcome to participate. You collect your number bib beforehand in Mora or on location in Oxberg before the start. Pack the food and equipment you think you\u2019ll need in your backpack. At the start area, you hand in your bag with a change of clothes at a lorry \u2013 which will safely transport your bag to Mora.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\">The race starts jointly for all participants at 20:00. The start opens at 19:15, and you must be there no later than 19:45. Over the 45 kilometres, you pass the checkpoints in Oxberg, H\u00f6kberg and Eldris, where you can refill with water and sports drink in your own container. Toilets are available at all checkpoints, and medical staff are present at the start and finish.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\">As the race is freestyle, the track is prepared with both a groomed skating lane and two classic tracks. There is one cut-off time \u2013 the last permitted passage in H\u00f6kberg \u2013 but you\u2019ll have plenty of time to reach the finish. The basic rule on the track is: Keep to the right, overtake on the left!<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\">When you begin to glimpse the illuminated church tower in Mora, you\u2019ll know the home stretch is approaching and you\u2019re about to experience the magical feeling of crossing the finish line under the historic portal. After finishing, you\u2019ll receive your well-earned medal and be offered drinks and refreshments. You can leave your skis in the ski deposit and take the free bus to the showers at Pr\u00e4stholmens IP, where your bag will be waiting. Afterwards, you can return to the finish area to collect your diploma and skis and enjoy the atmosphere. Every finish is a victory. The checkpoint must be left 10 minutes after the time limit for arrival has expired.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-large with-line-height\">If you arrive too late at a checkpoint you must abort the race.
